Increased Accountability

The Outreach Center's Board of Directors understands the need for accountability, especially during these times of economic instability. Scarse food sources and limited funding have prompted The Outreach Center to move to a new system to account for the families and non-profit organizations receiving groceries from our Food Distribution and Community Food Bank programs. Several additional components have been implemented to help The Outreach Center improve accuracy, accountability, and to use the time we spend with families more productively. We are very pleased to announce that a new computer system will greatly improve our ability to keep track of the families receiving groceries. The new computer system will help families by speeding up the time spent waiting in line for assistance with groceries, allowing our Leaders to spend time nuturing each family spiritually. New weigh scales and a tighter inventory control system have been implemented for the Community Food Bank program. As The Outreach Center continues to seek additional funding and food procurement efforts, these systems will help distribute available resources and ensure continued services for our area.
